Accessibility Commitment for Rubbish Removal Belgravia

Rubbish Removal Belgravia is committed to providing an accessible and user-friendly experience for all customers in the Belgravia area, including people with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to understand our services, arrange rubbish removal, and contact our team without barriers. This Accessibility Statement explains the measures we take and how you can get in touch if you need further assistance.

Our Accessibility Standards

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, Level AA. These internationally recognised guidelines set out how to make web content more accessible for people with a range of needs, including visual, auditory, motor and cognitive impairments. Our goal is that customers seeking accessible rubbish removal in Belgravia can browse information, request quotes and contact us as independently as possible.

We regularly review our online content, design and code to maintain a good level of accessibility. When new content or features are introduced, we aim to design and develop them with accessibility in mind from the beginning, rather than as an afterthought.

Screen Reader Support

Our website is designed to be compatible with modern screen reader software, helping customers who are blind or have low vision to access information about rubbish removal in Belgravia. We aim to ensure that headings, lists, buttons and forms are coded in a way that is understandable to assistive technologies.

Images used on our pages are given descriptive text where they convey important information. Where images are decorative, we seek to ensure they do not create unnecessary noise for screen reader users. We also aim to present information in clear language and logical order, so that screen reader users can follow the content easily.

Keyboard Navigation

Many people, including those with mobility or dexterity impairments, rely on a keyboard or alternative input devices instead of a mouse. Our website is designed to be navigable using only a keyboard. You should be able to move through interactive elements such as menus, forms and buttons using the Tab, Shift plus Tab and Enter keys, as well as the arrow keys where appropriate.

We aim to provide visible focus indicators to show which element is currently selected when using keyboard navigation. This helps you understand where you are on each page while exploring information about our rubbish removal services in Belgravia.

Text Readability and Visual Design

We aim to use a clear layout, consistent headings and readable font sizes to make our content easier to understand. Colour contrast between text and background is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements wherever possible, making information more legible for users with low vision or colour vision deficiencies.

We avoid relying solely on colour to convey important information. Where possible, we combine colour with text labels, patterns or icons to help ensure that everyone can interpret our content, including service details and booking information for accessible rubbish removal in Belgravia.

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we recognise that there may be areas where we can improve. We review our site periodically and consider user feedback to identify and resolve accessibility issues. Some legacy content or third-party integrations may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines, but we are working to either improve or replace them over time.
